Stroke Services

There are two main types of stroke − ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. The Department of Neuroscience offers intravenous and intra-arterial thrombolysis therapy for acute strokes, within a time frame of 4-5 hours after the onset. We have a dedicated Neuro Intensive Care Unit and post-stroke rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
