Radiodiagnosis Department

Today, Imaging and Radiology are the extended eyes and hands of your doctor. As the eyes, Imaging helps your doctor to see deeper into your organs to identify the cause of your symptoms faster and with more certainty. As the hands, radiology allows your doctor to reach the exact site of the disease and even perform procedures to deliver drugs at the site of the disease, remove diseased and infected tissues, take tissue specimens accurately to identify the source of your disease and repair and fix any damaged tissues.

Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP): An accurate view of your Liver, Pancreas and Gall Bladder and its ducts can be obtained to identify any stone/tumour/blockage.

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA): The Radiologist and your treating specialist can view your blood vessels for any abnormality like bulging (Aneurysm), blockage, injury or bleeding etc.

Neuro MRI: Your Neurologist can accurately view any mass or tumour and changes in the brain in cases of infections, tumours and even Epilepsy and Dementia.

Cardiac MRI: Your Cardiologist can accurately view any Ischaemia (Low blood supply to your heart) or cardiac blood vessels disease or congenital heart disease.

MRI of the Bones, Joints and Soft tissues: to identify any inflammation, structural abnormality, herniation or degeneration of the spinal cord and injuries inyour bones and muscles.

MRI with 3-D reconstruction of an organ: It is a highly specialized technique of MRI where a complete 3-Dimensional image of your tissues and Organs is constructed that helps your doctor to see complex, deep seated lessions in their actual location, shape and size.

Interventional MRI: Use of MRI to reach difficult locations like inside of your lungs, liver, brain, spinal cord to remove deep lesions, take out biopsy samples and carry out operative procedures ensuring minimal likelihood of injury to nearby delicate tissues.
